Sven van Hasselt

Extradited from the Netherlands to the UK in February 2017 for charges that could carry 14 years in prison, as part of the Blackmail 3 case with Natasha and Debbie Vincent. In July 2012 Sven and Natasha were raided and arrested in Amsterdam under a European arrest warrant. They were accused of ‘conspiracy to blackmail’ in relation to Huntingdon Life Sciences (rebranded as Envigo). HLS is Europe’s largest animal testing laboratory and is the most notorious and protested lab in history.

Vladislav Sereda

Vladislav Sereda is an antifascist from Ivatsevichi. Sentenced to 2 years and 8 months of liberty restriction in a penitentiary facility for a fight with neonazis in Beryoza. The aggrieved persons filed a complaint and claimed that Vlad used a knife in the fight. They also asked for a restitution of 2000 euros each.

In the penitentiary facility inmates have to provide for themeselves with their own labour, but at the moment there is no work, so Vlad needs financial support for survival and for paying damages.

Lisa Dorfer

Lisa was arrested in Barcelona and jailed for trial in the center of JVA Köln, in the federal state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (western Germany). She has been held in isolation in an individual cell, leaving for only an hour in the yard, and with communications with the outside highly restricted. She was sentenced to 7 and half years, accused of a bank expropiation in 2014.

Lisa speaks, reads, and writes Spanish, German, English and Italian.

Tomas Kovinski

Tomas is an antifascist from Minsk. Detained on September 27, 2016 after a fight with a right-wing football hooligan. On January 25, 2017 was convicted under art. 339.2 (malicious hooliganism) to 2,5 years of custodial restraint.

On April 25, 2018 transferred under house arrest by a commutation. The sentence expires on January 11, 2019.

Markéta Všelichová

Two activists, Markéta Všelichová and Miroslav Farkas, were arrested on the 13th of November 2016 while attempting to cross the Habur border crossing from Turkey to Iraq. They were accused of participating in terrorist activity in Northern Syria and taken into custody.

On the 2nd of August they were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months for belonging to the Kurdish defence forces YGP/YPJ (these non-state kurdish groups are fighting Daesh/ISIS, the turkish army which has been repressing Kurds for several decades, and the dictatorial regime of Bashar Al-Asad).

Giorgos Petrakakos

Arrested in 2015 and serving 36 years for being tried on charges of participating in Revolutionary Struggle and numerous bank robberies, only one of which he takes responsibility for.

"On September 24th and about 9 years after I had to violate my probation, I was arrested outside my house in Volos together with my wife Maria Theofilou right before the eyes of our two infant children.

Vadim Boyko

Vadim Boyko is an antifascist supporter of FC Partyzan from Minsk. He was detained on March 22, 2016 together with other people on suspicion of participating in the attack on the right-wing hooligans that happened about two years ago. On March 10, 2017 sentenced to 4 years of jail. FC Partyzan (former MTZ-RIPO) is an antiracist football club that doesn’t exist any more, while there are still some active groups of hooligans involved in street fights.

Georges Ibrahim Abdallah

Georges is a Lebanese Arab struggler for Palestine, imprisoned
in French prisons for over 32 years. Georges Abdallah's case has built
significant support in Lebanon and in France, and Palestinian prisoners
have highlighted the importance of Abdallah's case as part of the struggle
of the Palestinian political prisoners for freedom and liberation.

Oleg Sentsov

Oleg was senteced to 20 years in prison after a trial described by Amnesty International as “redolent of Stalinist-era show trials.”

Sentsov and his co-defendant Alexander Kolchenko, who received a 10-year sentence, were accused of planning terrorist acts in Crimea after the peninsula was annexed by Russia.
