Patryk Cichoń

At the beginning of May 2016 our comrade Patryk Cichoń from Poland was arrested by British police under an European Arrest Warrant. Patryk is a well known anti-fascist militant notorious among neo-Nazi-boneheads in his city for his uncompromising stance against them in the past. The boneheads managed to convince a few of their friends to testify against Patryk and his friend for an alleged assault and robbery.

Maxim Yahnieshka

 Maxim Yahnieshka is an antifascist from Grodno. On September 7, 2016, he was sentenced to 3 years of custodial restraint for a fight with right-wing hooligans (art. 186 Threat of homicide, malicious bodily harm or property destruction) and for robbing another hooligan of his hat (art. 206.2 Robbery with threat of violence + art. 339.1 Hooliganism).

Vadim Boyko

Vadim Boyko is an antifascist supporter of FC Partyzan from Minsk. He was detained on March 22, 2016 together with other people on suspicion of participating in the attack on the right-wing hooligans that happened about two years ago. On March 10, 2017 sentenced to 4 years of jail. FC Partyzan (former MTZ-RIPO) is an antiracist football club that doesn’t exist any more, while there are still some active groups of hooligans involved in street fights.

Mateen Abdul Shaheed

On Thursday November 10th, Portland exploded with over ten thousand people hitting the streets in opposition to the election of Donald Trump to the highest position of power in the world. The evening saw rebellious acts by youth of color and anarchists taking actions against bourgeois businesses in the Pearl District, one of Portland’s most gentrified neighborhoods, against car dealerships and against city infrastructure.

Kungsan 15

Thirteen antifascists in Stockholm, Sweden, received prison sentences after riots connected to a protest in Kungsan against a Swedish Nazi party during the elections in 2014.

In the aftermath the Swedish security police, SÄPO, singled out fifteen people who they claimed to be active in the antifascist movement. The thirteen sentenced to prison have over €35 000 in fines, damages and trial costs. Eight of the thirteen were sentenced on July 1st, 2016 to 4-12 months.

Linus Soinjoki

Linus was charged and convicted for actions related to his involvement in the anti-fascist movement in Sweden. He was given fourteen months in prison and began serving his sentence in mid-May 2015.

Linus can read Swedish and English.

Valentin

Valentin was arrested on July 1, 2015, and was accused of taking part in violent clashes between antifascist ultras and neo-Nazi hooligans after a football match between SV Werder Bremen and Hamburger SV. The violent confrontation began when fascist hooligans from Bremen attacked a group of ultras, identifying them as left-wing antifascists.  He is charged with aggravated battery and severe breach of the peace (schwerer Landfriedensbruch).

Vlad Lenko

Vlad Lenko is an antifascist from Ivatsevichi (Brest region). Detained on December 27, 2014 on suspicion of taking part in a fight with local neonazis that took place on December 23, 2014. Accused of group hooliganism and aggravated bodily harm.  In September 2015, he was sentenced to 6 years of penal colony with reinforced regime.
