Standing Rock 6

The Standing Rock 6 are arrestees facing felony charges stemming from arrests on October 27, 2016 at ceremonial resistance camps at Standing Rock. These camps were convened in North Dakota by Native peoples and their allies who gathered there to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline. Collectively, they are referred to as water protectors. These seven arrestees are out of the 800-some water protectors arrested, many the result of widespread police sweeps at demonstrations like October 22 with scant or no evidence to link most individuals to any crime.

Scripta Manent

In the early hours of September 6, an operation coordinated by the Digos [political police] of Turin led the searches of 30 homes invarious Italian regions (Piedmont, Liguria, Lazio, Umbria, Lombardy,Abruzzo, Campania, Sardinia and Emilia Romagna) and the arrest of five anarchist comrades accused of subversive association with terrorist intent: Anna, Marco, Sandrone, Danilo and Valentina; in addition, a notification in prison for Nicola and Alfredo. The operation, called “Scripta Manent” [from Latin proverb “verba volant, scripta manent” — spoken words fly


The campaign against the building of the Turin-Lyon high speed rail link has been running for 20+ years and regularly produces new arrests as the Italian State tries to suppress resistance. 


More than 400 people are accused of resistance against this unnecessary and imposed mega project which is going to destroy the environment and the finances of this country, and which excludes the possibility of building other smaller necessary projects.

Operation Ice

In a wave of political repression, six students were arrested in Madrid on November 5, 2015. The students belong to a Straight Edge collective and were arrested for supposedly setting fire to two banks as well as storing materials to make homemade explosives.

Kungsan 15

Thirteen antifascists in Stockholm, Sweden, received prison sentences after riots connected to a protest in Kungsan against a Swedish Nazi party during the elections in 2014.

In the aftermath the Swedish security police, SÄPO, singled out fifteen people who they claimed to be active in the antifascist movement. The thirteen sentenced to prison have over €35 000 in fines, damages and trial costs. Eight of the thirteen were sentenced on July 1st, 2016 to 4-12 months.


Operation Fenix (Phoenix)

In April 2015, Police of the Czech Republic commenced an operation against the anarchist, anti-authoritarian and animal liberation movement. This operation is known and called Operation Fenix (Phoenix). During the initial stage many individuals have been questioned and interrogated, some arrested and several places raided. Police confiscated servers, computers, flash drives, cameras, mobile phones and other digital devices or data carriers. So far we do not know to what extend the operation goes and how many people are being monitored and what the intentions of the police are.

Operation Pandora

Operation Pandora:

In December 2014, seven comrades were arrested and then released on bail a month later with the same charges, and some details of the attacks attributed to the GAC*, in Barcelona and Manresa, in addition to searches at the libertarian Athénées of Sant Andreu and Poble Sec and the squat Kasa de la Muntanya.
